WILL TERRIS

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Will Terris came into this world with rhythm in his veins and a passion for music that’s impossible to ignore. According to his mom, he was practically born with a pair of drumsticks in hand, and we’re not arguing with that.

“After Jr. High, my drumming skills got to a point where my teacher told me he couldn’t teach me anymore. So, he threw me into some bands he was playing with!” ~WT

Will, our human metronome, does more than just keep the beat—he transmits it. He’s the heartbeat of Fire At Will, laying down the drums, percussion, and vocals. His talents didn’t go unnoticed, and it wasn’t long before he got a call from none other than John Denver, who wanted Will as his drummer. While the timing didn’t line up for that gig, Will’s journey led him across the western U.S., playing for thousands of fans and leaving his mark on every stage he touched.

“I love how music can take you away from reality for a while. I perform for that same reason—to help others escape and just enjoy the moment. Being part of Fire At Will is incredible because we’re all passionate musicians who truly connect, and we have a blast sharing our music with the crowd.” ~WT

Will is the driving force behind the groove, the laughs, and the energy that makes Fire At Will unforgettable.

LEW WOOLFORD

Growing up in Arizona, Lew’s musical journey kicked off at the age of 9 when his older brother handed him a pair of drumsticks and introduced him to the world of music.

“My brother got me into music when I was nine. He’d hand me a pair of drumsticks and make me play a glass ball to Beach Boys songs. Then one Sunday, he got me to watch The Ed Sullivan Show, and I saw The Beatles perform for the first time. I WAS HOOKED.” ~LW

That spark led Lew to his first guitar, and by age 15, he was diving into bass guitar too, a passion that still fuels him today.

Lew’s strength lies in his incredible versatility. From Bach to rock, and everything in between, he’s a master of navigating musical styles with ease. He’s played some of the biggest venues for passionate audiences, but some of his most memorable moments include performing in the pit orchestra for Aida and Wicked. Lew has also composed several jazz projects, proving his wide-ranging musical talents.

“I love the personal fulfillment I get from every part of music—listening, performing, creating, teaching, and recording. Being part of Fire At Will is an awesome experience. It’s a group of musicians who’ve become close friends, and I love sharing the stage with them.” ~LW

Whether he’s riffing on guitar or keeping the band’s finances in check, Lew’s passion for music and connection with the band makes every performance something special.

BILL CUSHENBERRY

Hailing from Burbank, California, Bill Cushenberry has been immersed in music since the age of 10. While he started out on drums, his true passion led him to the bass guitar. Over the years, he’s added guitar, pedal steel guitar, trumpet, and baritone horn to his impressive repertoire. Bill’s bass playing is defined by a natural rhythm and style that brings each song to life.

His musical journey began early and has taken him to stages across the globe—from Diego Garcia to Thule, and throughout the United States. A career highlight? Playing with the Osmonds under the iconic St. Louis Arch for a Fourth of July celebration in 1985, where nearly a million people gathered to enjoy the music and festivities.

“I love creating something special with like-minded people and the energy that comes with it. There’s nothing better than the fun we share on stage and seeing our audience enjoy it just as much. It’s all about making the party happen.” – BC

TUCKER HANSEN

Growing up in Orem, Utah—back when the town was more cherry orchards than anything else—Tucker Hansen was already negotiating his way through life. “We had an old piano in the front room,” he recalls. “In 3rd grade, I asked my mom if I could take piano lessons. My five older siblings had all taken lessons and quit, so she said, ‘No.’ I taught myself the first book, played the last song for her, and she decided to let me take lessons after all.” – TH

Tucker may not have John McEnroe’s fiery temper, but his perfectionism comes through in a different way. He spends countless hours fine-tuning keyboard and sample sounds to elevate the audience’s musical experience. His versatility and depth of experience are the foundation of his craft, allowing him to seamlessly master a wide range of styles.

With over 30 years of performing keyboards and blues harp across the western United States, Tucker has played for audiences large and small. Yet for him, the most rewarding shows are those where he can see grandkids smiling in the crowd.

“I love so many things about music, but one of my favorites is how it can bring back a memory like it was yesterday.” – TH

KYLE JOHNSON

Born and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Kyle Johnson grew up surrounded by music, but not always by choice. As the youngest son of two incredibly musical parents, it took him a little while to catch the bug. Although he was taught piano and music theory early on, Kyle admits that it wasn’t until junior high that music truly clicked.

“You’d think with a band teacher for a dad and a voice/piano teacher for a mom, I would’ve caught the passion a lot sooner!” ~KJ

Kyle’s musical journey began with the trombone and quickly expanded to include a variety of brass instruments, including the baritone bugle. From there, he immersed himself in choirs, orchestras, and bands that took him across the country. He’s also developed a love for playing keyboards and samplers, which he’s done with several bands along the way. A standout moment in his career came during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, where he was able to perform at the Olympic medal ceremonies.

“I love the way performing and playing great music makes me feel. Fire At Will really pushes me to be a better musician, and I get a kick out of seeing the joy and excitement our music brings to the crowd.” ~KJ

Kyle’s passion for performance is contagious, and his energy helps fuel Fire At Will’s unforgettable sound. Whether on vocals, percussion, or his various instruments, he’s all about creating moments that bring people together through the power of music.
